All partners within the project have thoroughly tested the game-based assessment of digital skills with our infinity.net game. About 69 older adults volunteered to participate in these tests. The project partners collected valuable information and feedback during this process.
We learned a lot about game design – especially how to create game mechanics that are easy to understand, simple and clear and still motivating. This is definitely not a simple task.
Another experience we had together is the translation of digital skills from the DigComp 2.2 framework into usable challenges. In the end, we can say with confidence that game-based assessment is a useful tool that can gather reliable results.
All our findings and observations are collected in this report.
